UV lasers produce great results on a variety of materials that do not mark well with other laser wavelengths. Some of these include: glass, crystal, metal, silicon and a variety of plastics.
UV is exceptional when marking on glass or crystal and can produce an ultra-smooth, white contrasting mark that rivals the results normally only achieved with sandblasting. Our UV laser is 3 to 5 times faster than traditional glass marking methods without all of the hassles associated with cutting masks, applying masks, sand blasting and cleanup. This leads to greater productivity, lower labor costs and improved profitability for your business. UV laser unlike CO2 or Fiber are also able to produce a much desired depth engrave into glass and crystal items.
We offer UV Lasers in 2 power levels 3 and 15 watts in traditional flat field marking as well as 3D dynamic focus. The 3D version allows you to mark part way around a curve like a drinking glass without having to rotate the item.
UV light is very dangerous to your eyes and skin. No company should ever sell any UV system that is not fully enclosed.

This is an example of UV laser engraving glass. The laser used for this test marking was only a 3 watt system with a 3D beam steering head. Most customers purchase a 15 watt system that would be around 4 times faster then you see here taking around one minute to complete.
