Our special tags will record temperature values during shipping and store the data directly on the tag. This data can be accessed by any end user with their cell phone if it has a NFC reader. (most do) Data can also be recovered using industrial UHF RFID readers. You can also tell the tag when to start and stop recording as well as how often to log a temperature.
The tag looks like a paper label 3 1/3" by 1 2/3" and .7 mm thick in size and can be customized with variable text, bar codes and logo images.
There is a paper battery with the tag, in which data can be stored offline to monitor temperature through out the shipping process. This tag is ideal for monitoring those temperature sensitive products like fresh foods and pharmaceuticals during transportation and storage. These tags can continuously monitor and record the temperature of vaccines and other temperature sensitive medications during transportation and storage, providing real-time data for analysis and ensuring that vaccines are stored and shipped at the appropriate temperature.
In addition to the temperature data logging the label RFID features allow for non line of sight inventory tracking and management. Each one has a unique serial number and the labels can be printed with additional human readable data such as born on or expire date, bar codes and logos.
The labels are supplied in rolls of 1,000 on a 3 inch diameter carboard core.
